What is The Filings Docket?

The Filings Docket is an independent reference site at stockmarketnews.online that lists recent SEC EDGAR filings from 100 large U.S. public companies and explains what each filing type means in plain English, with a link to the original document on SEC.gov.

Why it exists

Most stock-market news reports the reaction to a filing rather than the filing. We think readers are better served by seeing the record itself: which company filed, which form, which 8-K item, on which date, and what that form is legally for. The docket does that for a fixed watchlist and links every entry to the SEC's archive.

What we publish

  • The docket: the last seven days of filings from the watchlist, grouped by day and form, rebuilt from EDGAR data on each refresh.
  • Company records: each company's recent filings, its filing lag history and a projected window for its next 10-Q or 10-K, computed from SEC deadline rules.
  • Form explainers and guides: original articles on how to read filings, each with dated SEC sources.

What we do not publish

No price predictions, buy or sell ratings, stock tips, AI-generated news stories or paid placements. Summaries describe the form type and 8-K item codes the company itself reported; they do not characterize the company's prospects.

Editorial standards

  • Every factual claim about SEC rules links to SEC.gov or the Code of Federal Regulations, and each article shows the date its sources were checked.
  • Data pages show the snapshot date. The current EDGAR snapshot was retrieved Oct. 16, 2026. If a refresh fails, we keep the last good data and say so rather than fill gaps.
  • Corrections are made in place and the page's updated date changes. Report an error to contact@stockmarketnews.online.

The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. It is funded by display advertising served by Google AdSense; advertisers have no influence on content. We do not use affiliate links. See the privacy policy and disclaimer.
